In my column this week, I write about our habit of seeking out amazing trees during our travels. I've found the search for trees more difficult than I had expected. I'm still looking for a good website or book that lists significant trees and their exact locations.
But since the column appeared, I've started getting suggestions from readers: a white oak in Jersey I hope to visit, a huge cucumber magnolia in North Canton, Ohio, and a tree in Maui that sounds wonderful. I'm sure there are many more, so if you know of a remarkable tree that might deserve a spot on our itinerary, drop me a note at rick@rickholmes.net.
